Hi. I’m Darryl. I’m an old, grumpy, sarcastic and sometimes witty B2B marketer. I used to be a software programmer but after a few years I got tired of staring at the screen all day. As careers go, mine had an interesting journey. After coding, I became a sales engineer, then a product manager, then a product marketer and eventually a full-fledged marketer. As it turns out, I’m pretty good at what I do, or so I've been told. Along the way I raised some money, made some money, and lost even more money. I've been hired and I've been fired. I've got plenty of scars and even more amazing stories. Over the years I’ve learned a thing or two. I have opinions. I like to share them. That's why I started this blog. Now, that doesn't mean you have to agree with me. In fact, I'd welcome a healthy debate. I want to thank you for taking time to learn more about me. I'd like to suggest we connect on LinkedIn, or perhaps Twitter. By the way, I've got some great content on my website. I hope you enjoy it.
